Marika Siewert and Brian Doerksen are friends in real life and collaborators as artists, songwriters, and filmmakers.

Marika’s recent song releases include “Let the World Sing, and Every Dream, and she has an upcoming album release coming in Spring 2024. She just finished a 10 date city tour on Brian’s “Faithful One Tour” as the special guest artist, as well as the “Home For Christmas” live show in BC, and as an actress her latest TV project recently released was appearing in Monarch “Legacy of Monsters” on Apple TV. She won a Leo award for directing, leading her to work with the Director’s Guild of Canada and the Black Screen Office as one of the few black female directors in Canada. Her and Brian recently completed writing a Christmas movie musical feature film that is in development.

Brian Doerksen is most known for songs like Faithful One, Refiner’s Fire and Come Now Is the Time to Worship which he recently released a 25th Anniversary version with Matt Maher, Drummer Cobus, and Sneha Reddy. Brian sang this past year at the Royal Albert Hall for the Coronation Prom in the UK, and just finished his first Faithful One Tour. Marika and Brian will both be performing at UK’s Big Church Fest 2024 and Brian also will be releasing a new version of Refiner’s Fire later this year with special guests Mission House Music.

“In Search Of” is Marika & Brian’s next project, written with Phil Wickham, Adam Watts and Gannin Arnold which kicks off a new song release in 2024 for them in preparation for their “Come Now Is The Time To Worship” Tours in Canada, the US and the UK
