GMA Covenant Award Nominee Morrissa Nicole has been coined as the voice for this generation. She is a multifaceted Canadian artist with determination and heart like no other. Morrissa was introduced to music at a very young age. Honing her gifts as a classically trained pianist and vocalist she won her first National songwriting competition at just 7 years old- evidently proving that Morrissa was on the right path. Attending anoter National competition for acting and singing led Morrissa to the United States of America. There, she released her first EP Album out of Nashville, TN with the hit single “What If” blazing radio airways and accompanying music video across screens all before her 20th birthday. This album allowed Morrissa to meet with the likes of Peter Youngren on Grace TV and travel across North America singing for the Lord. In 2022, she released her Christmas Album, “Christmas With You” and received her first movie sync placement from this Christmas project. In 2023, Morrissa released her sophomore EP Album, “Devotion” and has been ministering it around churches across Canada and on television programs like 100 Huntley Street.

As an actress Morrissa can be seen and heard on televisions across the country. Selected credits include Kim’s Convenience, Lifetime’s Toying With The Holidays, Netflix’s Let It Snow and more. Selected stage credits include High School Musical 2, We Will Rock You North American Tour 2019/2022 making her debut at Madison Square Garden in 2019. More recently, Morrissa is proud to share she is the voice of CBC News’ The National and is excited about the premier of PBS Kids’ animation series, “Lyla in the Loop” where she voices Lydia Loops (Mom).
