Come Behold (Lyrics)

Verse 1
There’s a story told since Jesus came
Of our Savior born an unexpected way
Why would Jesus leave His throne and trade it for a bed of hay?
Why would Christ come like a lamb?

Verse 2
Since the dawn of time, guilt has needed grace
Only perfect blood could wash away our stains
So the Holy Lamb of God was born to die and take our place
Here with us the promise God made

Chorus
Come behold the Lamb sent to us from heaven
See God’s perfect plan to rescue our souls
Glory to our God hope has come
As a Lamb of Christ our Savior is born

Verse 3
Many years have passed since Jesus came
But He’s promised that He’s coming back again
Will you come and bow before the Lamb who’s worthy of all praise?
Come in awe and worship His name

Chorus
Come behold the Lamb sent to us from heaven
See God’s perfect plan to rescue our souls
Glory to our God hope has come
As a Lamb Christ our Savior is born

Bridge
Gloria, Gloria
Worthy is the Lamb
Gloria (Gloria) Gloria (Gloria)
Worthy is the Lamb
Gloria (Gloria) Gloria (Gloria)
Worthy is the Lamb

Chorus
Come behold the Lamb reigning now in heaven
See God’s perfect plan to rescue our souls
Glory to our God hope has come
As the Lamb we’ll forever behold
He’s the Lamb we’ll forever behold
